Meeting Recap | Dec 12

Posted on Dec 13 2011 - 4:32pm

We had a fun filled meeting on Monday that included:

Drug and Alcohol Talk
We had an officer from the Redmond Police stop by and talk about the risk of drug and alcohol use. This was not only interesting but also an advancement requirement.

Elections

  • Congrats to our new Patrol Leader Council members! This should prove to be an exciting term for the troop.
  • Thank you to Mercury and the other outgoing PLC members for your dedication over the past six months!

Venture Crew
We are excited to announce that with our 2012 rechartering, we have launched a Venture Crew 591. This is a scouting group that enjoys outings, and is open to anyone (male or female) between the ages of 14 and 20.

Will Herlan is the Crew Adviser (like the Scoutmaster) and is seeking another adult to join him working with the Crew to organize their outings.

Xmas Tree Volunteers

Posted on Dec 7 2011 - 4:04pm

Parents:

We need more parents to sign up to drive the Scouts to areas for them to distribute the flyers door-to-door so that people know we will be by after the holidays to pick up their trees.
